Synopsis:

1984, London, British Empire under His Majesty George IX.

 

The World, as we know it, does not exist. Technology and society are blocked at the first Industrial Era and the world is on its last legs. William Eyworth is an army officer of His Majesty and he is coming back home to ask the beautiful Anthoniette in marriage. He leaves a war that is destroying Brazil and a system that stumbles in its instability behind ,but William is taking with him a secret that might change the destiny of the planet, a discovery that can save humanity and lead towards a new future…

 

"A new future" is one of the tales that classified among the first ten stories in the literary contest of 2010 announced by the "The Path of the Dragons" association in Este (Padua).
